Joyce W Cairns (not to be confused with Joyce Gunn Cairns) is a long established artist based in Aberdeen. Her 'War Tourist' series of paintings was one of the most powerful bodies of work produced by a Scottish artist and since then she has continued to produce work of a rarely achieved standard. This is the first time (Christmas 2011) that Kilmorack Gallery has shown her work.
