Will Maclean (b 1941) MBE, FRSE, RSA

Will Maclean's work is about man and the sea, and this embattled but beautiful relationship. Fishing, people, flotsam, boats and memories – there are so many stories to be told. His work is also about poetry, written using beach-combed objects or whatever medium comes to his skilled hands. These tactile poems grip, tease and endure as well as any verse.

Will Maclean is represented in private and public collections worldwide, including the

Aberdeen Art Gallery, Arts Council of Great Britain, BBC Scotland, British Museum, British Transport, Dundee District Council.
