Ann Oram RSW paints in the grand tradition of the Scottish Colourists. Her floral paintings are exuberant celebrations of colour, bursting with life and vitality. Oram’s bold hues, strength of design, elegant paint handling and innovative approach to mixed media take colour sensation to a new level. Oram masterfully combines a variety of mediums including oils, watercolour, acrylic and ink to create ‘blooms’ of incandescent depth, reminiscent of Odilon Redon’s joyful still lifes.
Ann Oram was born in London and trained at Edinburgh College of Art.
