Illona Morrice was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her parents were both artists, which allowed her to work and exhibit professionally from the age of seventeen. Since then she has always sculpted. The discovery of new forms, fresh glazes and life experiences never stop for Morrice. This spirit of discovery is what makes her often-humorous work always elegant.
