ALLISON WEIGHTMAN: Follies and Viaducts

The colours of autumn have seeped their way into Allison Weightman's latest collection of ceramic vessels. They are full of experimentation, joy in clay and inspiration from the surrounding world. In this case the Clava viaduct and the Oban folly. I feel the excitement Weightman must have felt in finding the glazes, forming shapes and creating exciting windows in these works. I predict that none of these works will be in the gallery for long.
