James Newton Adams' latest two paintings are inspired by the artist's life on Skye in his house that overlooks the sea. There is an obvious love of the work of Alfred Wallis and, in the centre, the lighthouse keeper tends a lonely light on a rock surrounded by boats and bustle. James Newton Adams' work is always a brilliant balance of colour, shape, observation and humour.
