Winter Gardens | ROBERT MCAULAY: Sixteen new paintings

In this exhibition - Winter Gardens - McAulay leaves the urban world behind and, inspired by his wild garden, explores the resilience of nature and the beauty of dormant trees. These sixteen paintings reveal a remarkable freshness of colour, texture and form in his work, and show a lightness that suggests spring and new life rather than winter depths and descending sap. They are paintings that play in paint and the optimism of nature.
