Calum McClure is an artist who is immersed in the power and possibilities of paint. McClure’s oil paintings and large expressive monotypes emerge from his fascination with the borderless world of nature and its fragile resistance. Influenced by his Grandfather David McClure’s twentieth century mastery of Scottish painting, McClure’s unique blend of painterly prowess and bold expression has earned him many accolades and admirers.

Calum McClure (b. 1987) graduated from Edinburgh Collage of Art in 2010. Since then, he has exhibited with some of the finest galleries in the UK including the Royal Academy, London, the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh and Flowers Gallery, London.
