Saturation | JANE MACNEILL: Nine new paintings

Jane MacNeill's work consistently offers more than their quiet surfaces at first suggest. The close tones of the hills ask what it is like just beyond, towards the horizon, and there is an inlit energy, a saturation, of older things there in every painting. These latest nine works are inspired by walks in the Cairngorm hills of MacNeill's childhood and the feeling of saturation in a landscape, and awareness of something larger than us.

Jane MacNeill's work is showing until until Christmas.
