Overview

‘The earliest forms of art in clay and on cave walls were tactile and born of ritual. Steve Dilworth’s art taps into that primacy of touch, in how we make sense of the world as human beings and how we relate to nature.

The point of ignition in all of Dilworth’s objects is the raw energy of material. This vital, originary spark is held inside the object, like a battery that creatively lights the world.’
