Winter Selection: contemporary Scottish art
It is hard to not feel good when you are inside Kilmorack in the winter. The log fire and original pink eighteen-century walls glow with warmth. The aroma of coffee welcomes and music accompanies. It is also a fantastic time to see paintings and sculpture. Winter is often the most experimental time of year- new artists are tried while large projects are dreamed.
We continue to introduce new work most weeks throughout winter months and will add these to the website as they arrive. Please contact us to be added to our mailing list if you would like regular postings about these arrivals. We let sold work be taken away at this time of the year, so it does always change every week, but if you visit you should see just-in work by James Newton Adams, Paul Bloomer, Colin Brown, Kirstie Cohen, Allan MacDonald, Robert McAulay, Ann Oram and many others. We also have ceramics by Allison Weightman, illona Morrice and Lotte Glob.
Our vaults are worth exploring too. For more please look through gallery artists or contact us with any artistic requirements. Sometimes it may be possible to bring a selection of works to your home.
