WINTER EXHIBITIONS
Winter is a favourite time of year at Kilmorack. Rules are relaxed: we can show new artists and be flexible with existing ones. At this time of year, the woodburning stove is fully appreciated and there is always be something of interest to see. We think of it as a collection of smaller exhibitions and statements by a select group of artists.
Highlights include Iona Roberts' painterly portraits of harbours, Beth Robertson Fiddes' Assynt hills and northern waves, James Newton Adams' lighthouse seascapes, Kirstie Cohen's brooding landscapes, Becs Boyd’s narrative oils, Paul Barnes' miniature jewel-like paintings, Rory Macdonald's miniature portraits of reimagined old masters, sculptures from the natural world by Illona Morrice, new eastern inspired collaged paintings from Colin Brown and so much more.
