Malaysian born HOCK-AUN TEH came to Scotland to study at the Glasgow School of Art in the early 1970s, a time when he also founded the martial art, Tukido.

To Hock-Aun an event, maybe dancing outside a temple or watching a Squirrel in his garden, is distilled into expressive feelings of energy. This is abstract expressionism at its most true. Under Teh's brush all of nature and life is ultimately energy.

In recent times Teh has had notable success in South East Asia with work that bridges eastern and western art.
